Organisations have developed systems and processes to conduct regular performance reviews for decades. Appraising good work and giving constructive feedback for areas of development is widely accepted as being important. And although the way this is being done in companies is constantly evolving, the principles always remain the same.
Unfortunately, it is often also seen as something of a nuisance.
In this course, we offer you a deeper immersion into principles and approaches which can make regular performance reviews most effective and even enjoyable.
We recommend that you plan this module over several weeks, ideally well before you have to go into your first or next round of performance appraisals. The elements we present are a combination of personal experiences as leader and coach, and best practices we found in literature.
